Maybe Chang will be called Great American Scream Machine. They still haven't taken down the sign, usually that is the first thing to go when a ride is removed.

I visited the park yesterday, and they took down the signs inside the station that said "Welcome to The Great American Scream Machine" and stuff like that.

Lol- thanks warnerleroy, i just found this. It's too bad that they don't give GASM the credit that she deserved... I mean, she was the first coaster ever with Dual Diagnostics, right? (Please, correct me if I'm wrong)... So many innovations made, it's a shame that she went to scrap instead of going to another park. Also, I'm always looking for old videos, photos, personal encounters with her if you know of any. GASM obsessed =)

and the award for most interesting name is that1stdropsadoozy!

and no, the loop was demolished about 2 weeks ago :(

With three trains and rarely the need for even two trains, they often kept one in storage. The final season they decided to do a full rebuild on the blue train and then made the decision (once the rehab was nearly done) to remove the ride. That's why the blue train was shipped to SFOG.

The trains were all rebuilt over the years with few original pieces still on them. When Shockwave at SFGAm was torn down, we received one of the trains from there and parts were used from all the trains to keep things going.

Thats true but I didn't get the last year with the white being out more than the red,but the red was smoother my guess is the stupid axe ads.
