29yrswithaGApass
I realized something scary when I was putting this Spotlight together. Rock and roll was around for 26 years when the show debuted in 1981. The year 1981 was 31 years ago so the show was presented more years ago than the original scope of the time period it illustrated when it was first shown. Translation: If the show was remade today it would have to be more than twice as long as the original.

Yoshi
It looks like this was a good attraction to go to in the middle of the day in the park to relax and cool off when it was hot outside and at the time fun to hear so much music at once compared to now where you have access to almost any song you want online. 29yrswithaGApass
Found this Great Rock N Roll Titme Machine graphic in a newly discovered 1981 pamphlet. Reminds me of the film Alien.
29yrswithaGApass
Flipping through the television channels this morning and the image below caught my eye on ME TV’s Jersey Matters. Look close and you can see they used the logo with our GAH logo still intact!

29yrswithaGApass
I don’t think so. The original show predates Bon Jovi and Motley Crue.
