It's just like last year with El Diablo. They can get these rides open and running if they wanted to, but it's better to wait Til Memorial Day for the "grand opening" to get more people at the park. I still have yet to see The Joker advertised on tv or the radio which I'm kinda surprised by

And so the park can make more season pass sales from spring guests.

^The media event is May 26th in the morning so I would expect season pass ERT to start that afternoon and all day Friday.

Nice, my school has off Friday the 27th so I could head up to the park for the passholder preview day. Looking forward to riding!

They will probably have someone stationed at the entrance and you just have to flash your SP I believe. With schools still in session I don't see Thurs or Fri wait times being that awful. Even if there is a bit of a long line I can't foresee the wait being too long. They load and dispatch 2 trains at once. First train goes up the lift where 2nd waits at the bottom of the lift and dispatches before the first even makes its way back to the station. I foresee the line moving fast despite the train size.

Gadv was live this morning on CBS3 in Philly with an announcer on the ride. It did not flip too much and it is a short ride.

Each side is different along with every ride. Probably doesn't help there's extra weight(cameras etc) across from riders.

It's also long enough IMO. I'm kinda happy we didn't get a longer version and they seemed to have made up for it with the spin fins.

First Riders to Conquer Coaster Themed to Iconic DC Comics Super-Villain

JACKSON, N.J. ─ May 26, 2016 Today, ultimate thrill seekers visiting Six Flags Great Adventure, the world’s largest theme park, will take on the newest roller coaster, The Joker, when it previews to coaster fanatics and Season Pass holders. The new 4D, free-fly coaster is the park’s 14th scream machine, and arguably the most insane among its world-renowned collection.

“Six Flags Great Adventure has a legendary reputation for the biggest lineup of coasters in the Northeast, and now The Joker takes this collection to the edge and beyond,” said roller coaster expert Tim Baldwin. “This genre of ride is so unique. There is no track below you and nothing above you, so riders are truly doing these acrobatic maneuvers mid-air. The combination of flips, drops and ultra-cool straight-up 120-foot lift makes this coaster totally different than all the other world-class coasters at Great Adventure.”

The unique design of The Joker features:

· Massive, imposing, floating and twisting I-box track frame in a unique purple and green two-tone design

· One-of-a-kind onboard magnetic technology featuring smooth head-over-heels free-fly flips providing guests the feeling of weightlessness as they soar outside the confines of a traditional track

· 4D wing vehicles that seat up to 8 per vehicle with a total of 5 vehicles

· Seats that allow riders to face each other as they tumble head over heels

· A 120-foot-tall, 90-degree hill that is ascended by an elevator-style, chain link lift

· Two beyond 90-degree “raven” drops creating the sensation of free-falling

“The Joker is undeniably one of the greatest DC Comics Super-Villains ever created. Only someone with his warped sense of humor could provide this level of insanity or spinsanity with a new, vertical coaster that delivers gravity-defying somersaults with utter unpredictability,” said Six Flags Great Adventure President John Fitzgerald. “It is the perfect addition to our dynamic line-up of award-winning roller coasters because this ride delivers total mayhem with its next-generation, cutting-edge thrills.”

The Joker previews to Season Pass holders through Friday evening, and opens to the general public on Saturday. For more information about the 2016 season at Six Flags Great Adventure, visit www.sixflags.com/greatadventure

How crowded was it? I wanted to go today but couldn't make it but I'm gonna try to get there tomorrow.

The lines seemed pretty bad around 3-4ish, but they died down soon after. I got on Dark Knight with like no wait, parachutes with pretty much no wait, and just got on bumper cars with like no wait.
