The Master
Doesn't surprise me, the park probably tells it's security to be non confrontational and avoid fights with guests.
IBOK
On the flip side, dispatchers are confrontational if someone whips out a cell phone.
YoungPup
On the flip side, dispatchers are confrontational if someone whips out a cell phone. And when I take out my phone in the queue for TDK Doesn't surprise me, the park probably tells it's security to be non confrontational and avoid fights with guests. What's the point of security then? Matt Kaiser
I just saw a new and completely different style of Six Flags commercial on TV. It showed clips of every big coaster at Great Adventure, along with Zumanjaro, with each ride's name on screen. It ended with a cool animation of coaster track moving around a globe and the tagline "World's Largest Amusement Park." It had new music, and I don't think it said "Go Big" at all throughout the commercial! New branding? I like it!

Railer
Google Earth has been updated with new images for Great Adventure! Funny, out of all those "Mock Up's" i saw last year with everything from a Wingrider, to i think a Premier, none looked like it actually would end up looking like from the updated Google shot. Now on anither note, has anyone heard about Batman failing State Inspection, and that is why it's closed? I just saw pics of the Track, and has spot's that are marked in orange tape, that really look bad. Most likely they are the weld's it failed Inspection for, or where they are doing repair work. I read "The Joker" and "Batman" failed, but "The Joker" re-opened later that day, around 7(ish), and "Batman" has been closed since. Matt Kaiser
^ As far as I know, state inspections only happen once a calendar year right before the park opens, or if there's some kind of modification, like Batman Backwards. I'm not sure what exactly constitutes needing a re-inspection mid-season, but I don't know why Batman would randomly be inspected again by the state. I'm assuming it's a just a rumor that got out, and if anything, maybe whoever started it really meant that it didn't pass the SF mechanic's morning inspection. Interesting side note, I believe they also need to be re-inspected and re-certified just to open the very few days in January of the new year. I know they definitely do re-certify all of their games for those few days in January.
Railer
No, the State can show up througout the Season and do "spot" inspection's, and they do occasionally. One of my Wife's best friend's work's for Dept Of Community Affair's, she has gone on "spot" inspection's before. She can get in the Park free at any time just flasing her State Badge, we were going to use a "Bring A Friend Free" on her year's ago, she said "keep it", just showed her Badge and got in. And if it's just a rumor, guess Batman fell for it also since it's been closed since that day and the Track is all marked out for weld's. SatansHockey
They put up signage for impractical Jokers on ka for sure, saw the picture on Facebook, one poster hinted at a wrap on one of the trains too. The first part is bad enough but the latter is even worse. Hope it's not true.
RC98
^ I really hope they don't do the train wraps... That new commercial is the best one I've seen them have in a while, I like that all the rides they show are from our park. Even though it's a small detail some people watching might not notice they still put in the effort for it. SatansHockey
Apparently the blue train is wrapped and apparently it's elaborate. Ugh. Good thing I don't watch that show to begin with.
robertleax
I will be at Great Adventure on Sunday to ride my 150th coaster... The Joker!!!. Decided to make it this coaster for a few reasons... 1... It's my home park 2... Was going to be Thunderbolt at Luna Park, but did not seem that thrilling and was by myself ... and... 3... Will be with my kids, makes it more meaningful... It will be my daughter's 133rd and my son's 53rd (he is far behind).

owtoty
Does anyone know how to add a dining pass to a season pass? I just bought a dining pass and printed out the voucher. I'm going to the park tomorrow and I need to know.

I'm pretty sure it's at the GA Cafe, but to be safe just ask whatever employee scans your pass when entering the park
Matt Kaiser
I believe the "correct" place to add it is season pass processing, but any food place can add it. They just might not know they can.

I would go to the Dining Plan representative (selling the meal plan near check out) before picking up your food.

Yoshi
Why do I think this is going to cause more people taking phones out on rides? Great Adventure created a Pokemon Go Player's Guide for people who are going to play the game at the park. https://www.sixflags.com/greatadventure/newsroom/pokemon-go-guide
