Railer
On the Official Website it say's Select Coaster's will be open. I always thought all the Coaster's are open. I'm almost postitive they were last year. Any one know more?
Up_Up_and_Away
I'm pretty sure its been "select" coasters...
GAcoaster
It probably depends on staffing. They don't want everyone to think ALL the rides will be open and be disappointed. You can safely assume the most popular rides will be part of the event as long as they are mechanically able to run.
JetsDevs4Lyf
Good point. Heck if its anywhere near as empty as coasters after dark was it won't really matter what's open. Nothing beats walking from Medusa to the Mine train at a time where the only 4 people in that section of the park are familiar faces from GAH
GAcoaster
The park just sent out a reminder about FFFN: Interesting that it mentions the Safari is open ot the public on Saturday (the 13th) even though the theme park is not... The Master
Are family fun nights as uncrowded as coasters after dark? I have not been able to make it to family fun nights in a few years but I have a chance to make it this year.
JetsDevs4Lyf
Didn't get out to it last season, but I would imagine it has to be better than a normal day at the park, especially with limited operating days now. Though if its anything like this years Coasters After Dark it will be your own playground
29yrswithaGApass
The crowds on Fall Family Night are comparable to Coasters After Dark. Everything is usually pretty exclusive with minimal wait times.
Railer
It is usually one of the best night's of the year as far as crowds go. There have been a few years here and there that have been kinda' crowded, but usually it's a great night at the Park.
warnerleroy
I agree with Railer. It's supposed to be for season pass holders, but ALL season pass holders go, and bring their freinds for $15! It's crowed, but festive just the same. It may be an hour tops wait for a ride, but it's worth to see just how everybody comes here to have fun! I don't know why, but I fell like I was just paid to say that? The Master
So far they are saying Sept 26th should be 77F with a 30% chance of rain .
JetsDevs4Lyf
well the weather is good for me, and the chance of rain brings more opportunity to have fewer guests in the park lol
Josh Davidson
I'll be there.

GAcoaster
It's looking more and more like it's going to rain on Friday night...
JetsDevs4Lyf
Walmart has nice cheap but reliable ponchos int he camping section for .
The Master
The forecast now is 68 Deg for the high, 60 for the low, and 70% chance of rain . It it rains too much they may shut down the park early. Years ago during a Coasters After Dark it was so unusually cold that they closed the park down 90 min early. Josh Davidson
Rain is gonna cancel my plans
GAcoaster
The forecast keeps being revised with the rain coming sooner, which may mean it clears off sooner too. The forecast keeps improving...
JetsDevs4Lyf
I guess the weather is fitting going into the fall season, but the rain sounds like it's gonna be scattered around so it might not be a total loss in all honesty. Still think it's at least worth a shot for the night. Even if only a couple of rides are my total, it'll be a good end of the regular season before FF begins. Railer
It's Rain or Shine for me. The Wife and Kids, shine only. So I hope it's just enough to Rain to keep em' home, I'm due for an all out Coaster Attack of hitting every one in the Park.
JetsDevs4Lyf
Looks as if the weather will be showery during the evening hours so we could still be in business. As long as the rains in the morning don't make them close down the park with no business! P.S. Doesn't this seem rather familiar with another event at the park having daily weather updates and everyone hoping for the best Edited September 25, 2008 by JetsDevs4Lyf
GAcoaster
Since the park won't be open during the day, it's only the night weather that matters.
