Now that everything is online, the calendar and operating hours seems to fluctuate constantly and does not always match what the park actually is doing. I know I drove past the park several times when the gates were open and the calendar said it was closed and others where it was unexpectedly closed. It's understandable that they might add a day (or extend it), and that may not be known far in advance (say they see a forecast for a day in October with a high of 85 a couple days out, and decide to open as a bonus), but certainly not helpful to show as being open then close last minute (unless it is absolutely necessary like a hurricane). Yoshi Posted December 7, 2023 Report Share Posted December 7, 2023 It's interesting to see daily operations began in mid April and midnight closings for most of the summer in 1981. A lot of parks seem to change hours without much if any notice. It makes it frustrating to plan a trip especially if you are not too close to the park.
