Yoshi
I wonder if the meals that normally come with a side like fries will still include them like a burger or chicken strips or if it will be just the main item only. I know last year at the parks they tested it at, the side that normally came with the meal was included but looking at the list I notice pizza specifically notes that fries are included and nothing else says that. Even if it is just a sandwich/entree, it is an awesome deal. Looks like I won't be going to WaWa anymore either before going to the park or after leaving the park. acq10uaz
Whoa the food options for GAdv are a lot better than some of the other parks.
Chiller
This is a good deal. Every other Six Flags park's list says "with fries." Great Adventure only has it on the pizza and Hot Dogs. On other things such as chicken and hamburgers are they included but just not mentioned.
The Master
Problem is the time window is during the peak times. At 11 the food lines aren't too bad, by 12 they are bad.
29yrswithaGApass
The menu listing has been updated and it appears that things like fries are also included.

robertleax
Why is the Chinese, the Teriaki place or the Cheessteak place not on it. Those are 3 places our family would eat if we didnt bring a lunch. *** Also does anyone know if the Season Dining Pass will work at other SF parks. Was going to try and go to SFA this year and dont want to bring a lunch. I'm also thinking of just getting 1 on my season pass and not on the rest of the families. Most of the time my daughter and I just go and we split the meal(s). Then it would be worth it but we usually split Panda Express or a Cheesesteak. GAcoaster
Those are contractors and not run by the park. I believe the dining pass is only good a park of purchase. It will also be interesting to see if people who buy passes from other parks (to get them cheaper) will be able to add the dining pass for Great Adventure or if they will be SOL for being cheapskates. Chiller
has anyone purchased the dining plan yet? I did, just in case there was a limited number of passes being sold. I'm ready to say goodbye to a summer of peanut butter and jelly for lunch and dinner. I rarely ever ate at the park.
jonlee
i always ate at the park. my wife and i would eat at best of the west. we both would get chicken fingers, fries and a drink. Definately gonna get this! i buy my season pass through my job, i hope they offer it soon!
SAM527
It really is a great deal, I bought 2 with Hurricane Harbor and Fright Fest, with the Discover discount the total was $198.11. We went opening day and got lunch and dinner, the total would have been $51.00 so it won't take very long to reach what I paid. I remember last year I bought chicken strips with fries and got another one for 50% off with the coupon in the book, along with the souvenir cup and the total was over $32.00. Remembering that made paying for the dining pass an easy decision. Now I have my eye on the new Six Below ice cream and frozen yogurt stands that popped up, can't wait to try those. 29yrswithaGApass
^ I totally agree! Not only is it a great deal, but the park has made it really easy to use by identifying which restaurants are participating and clearly posting which items are included on the menu boards. Here is the pamphlet that they are handing out at the park to explain the program.
Chiller
In case anyone was intrested, the Dining Pass in now valid at Nathans in the Boardwalk. There are also a couple of meals that you can get at the park that are not on the online menu.
Yoshi
I'm kind of surprised that it is valid at Nathans, since I wasn't expecting any of the chain restaurants to accept it. I'll have to try it sometime this season.

As of Saturday, there was no mention of the Dining Pass at Nathans (on the menus or signage at the restaurant).
Yoshi
When I waked in around 4:00 on Saturday, it showed 4 or 5 items on the menu board with the dining pass logo next to it. It was just the hot dog (a few different choices) and I think corn dog nuggets with no side (prices were $4.49 to $5.99 for the items included) so I decided to go somewhere else. 29yrswithaGApass
We checked around 11 am. Maybe the logos appear on the electronic menu boards only during dining plan meal times! I'll have to check that out next time.
29yrswithaGApass
I think the park should offer a drink option where you don't need to have the refillable soda bottle. Even for a few dollars more they could embed or print it on your season pass and offer it for an initial purchase price with the 0.99 "refill" offers. I hate carrying things around all day. I think a lot of people feel the same way and would be willing to purchase this option.
Yoshi
I would purchase that if it was offered. I never buy the refillable souvenir bottle even though it's a good deal and would be willing to pay another $10 - $15 for the option of getting a soda with the meal and not have to think about bringing the souvenir bottle with me. 29yrswithaGApass
The Season Pass Dining Plan has been expanded this year to include additional locations like both Johnny Rockets, Seaport Eats, and the Garden State Grill (formerly Ted's Cheese Steaks). joeyc98
I'm excited that it will include the Garden State Grill, as last year they did not include any of the Asian restaurants, which normally have healthier food options. But now im sure to eat there!
RunawayArrow
That made my day to hear Johnny rockets is part of the pass , now I just hope they bring back the $4 wristband refills !
Yoshi
They should be back but the price might be going up to $4.99 I saw a report from SFOT opening weekend and there was a sign up saying all day refills are now $4.99.
