jdc12192
It was midnight only on Fridays with 11pm closures on Saturday. The change makes sense given the size of the crowds late at night. I say lets make it 2am! hey harry, instead of 2am, I say make it 3am. lol You crazy people. That would be my worst nightmare. Midnight is long enough! That means fridays and saturdays i will be pulling 12/13+ hour shifts only to come in and do it again the next day. jdc12192
There is also another ghoul audition Sept. 24th at 6pm. Last one! Any questions feel free to PM me.
gasmspiritblue
If that was the case till 2, they would make me work till from like 12-7 and that shift is terrible, 12 latest. I have been doing 10-4:30 all season and i'm fine with that, but these time changes really screw up me schedule.
warnerleroy
Since the cost tk keep the park open is high, I say keep the "park" open until midnight and then frightfest attractions stay open until 1 or 2 am
Yoshi
Dorney used to do that up until a couple of years ago. Rides closed at 11, Haunt attractions closed at midnight.
Andrew M
GA should take into consideration that the lines we get at FF are usually ridiculously long and so people don't get enough time to do all the haunts and barely any rides. The beautiful thing about Dorney is you can do almost all of the haunted attractions and rides without getting there too early. Of course theyre gonna have to pay the the workers for a few more hours which would be the only reason I could see them not doing it, but come on.. its Fright Fest. If were not doing a HITP than spend the extra cash for Halloween.
Ogolo
I thought Ka had to be closed by 11PM in order for all the maintenance checks to be completed before opening the next day.
errico5errico
for Halloween they should open it up 24 hours if its on a Friday or Saturday. Disney does that once a year
GAcoaster
They do, and it's a disaster. I can only imagine what it would be like to host a 24 hour day at GA...
29yrswithaGApass
Source: Six Flags Great Adventure Six Flags Great Adventure’s Monstrous FRIGHT FEST® Features Three New Attractions and Fan Favorites in 2014 JACKSON, NJ—September 3, 2014—Six Flags Great Adventure’s Fright Fest®, the Northeast’s largest Halloween party, promises three new shows and attractions this fall. The event features family-friendly Thrills by Day and a zombie-filled Fright by Night at the world’s largest scream park. The seven-week festival begins Sept. 20 and runs weekends through Nov. 2 with two dozen Halloween-themed shows and attractions plus some of the world’s best thrill rides. By day, families can explore the new Spooky, Kooky Magic Show featuring Raoul, the Duke of Deception, and a new, zany and interactive animal show Paw and Disorder. Back by popular demand, guests can look forward to Trick-or-Treat Trail, Sea Lion Scary Tales, Spooktacular Street Party and the out-of-this-world Doc Snooker’s Halloween Time Machine. Families can also enjoy the park’s famous line-up of thrills for all ages, including Safari Off Road Adventure, SkyScreamer, Skull Mountain and more. After 6 pm, the festival transitions to Fright by Night as nearly 200 zombies are released into the midways. An array of crazy clowns and angry zombies mingle among mortals throughout Scare Zones including Circus Psycho, The Bloody Fountain and Bone Butcher Terror-Tory. This fall, the park introduces a new terror trail – Crop Circles, an alien-invasion corn maze. Terror Trail favorites like Voodoo Island, Asylum, Wasteland, Total Darkness and The Manor, return to terrorize guests off the beaten paths. Nighttime shows, known as “monstertainment,” include the return of the iconic Dead Man’s Party, Ghoulmaster’s Ghosts, The Awakening, Circus of Thrills and more. Six Flags proudly presents the return of Coney Island sideshow icon Todd Robbins in Professor Zombini’s Freak Show. Terror trails require an additional fee, while all scare zones and monstertainment are included with park admission. Fright by Night is not recommended for children under 12 and those who scare easily. “Fright Fest is also a great time to enjoy the park’s incredible lineup of record-breaking thrill rides,” said Park President John Fitzgerald. “Darkness, a blanket of fog and the crisp fall air ratchet up the fear factor, even on rides as terrifying as El Toro, Nitro, Kingda Ka and the new Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom.” Spooktacular Events On Sept. 20, Six Flags hosts the Central Jersey Blood Center for its annual Fright Fest Blood Drive. Guests can donate a pint of blood to earn a free ticket to Fright Fest between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Reservations must be made by visiting www.sixflags.com/greatadventure on the Events tab. Up to 200 donors are needed and will be taken on a first call, first serve basis. Donors must be 16 years of age or older, at least 110 lbs. and in good health to donate. Also Sept. 20, the park hosts its second Zombie Run. Participants can choose to chase or be chased. Human competitors will race for their lives in this 5K run by dodging zombies to stay alive. Registering as a zombie will put participants in the shoes of the undead with the goal of hunting down their human prey. Sept. 20 also features the Survival Race, a premiere family-focused 5K obstacle course and mud run. It is designed to get participants dirty and test their limits in a fun, healthy and exciting adventure. The Survival Race takes place inside the theme park with waves starting at 9 a.m. More details on both events are available at http://www.sixflags.com/greatadventure Six Flags Great Adventure will host the 8th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Oct. 5 – New Jersey’s largest 5k run/walk. The day honors breast cancer survivors, those lost, and unites a community in the fight against breast cancer. In 2013, close to 15,000 participants and spectators turned out to support the Race for the Cure. On closing day, Nov. 2, the Six Flags Race Series introduces the Biggest Loser RunWalk. This non-intimidating race is designed to challenge America to get fit, and was inspired by the hit reality show “The Biggest Loser.” For more information, visit www.sixflags.com/greatadventure. TylirBrown98
So because Crop Circles is listed as a "terror trail" does that mean its gonna be an additional fee, or is it just walk through whenever you would like?
jdc12192
It's going to be a fee. It's no longer a midway and now an actual trail.
29yrswithaGApass
Crop Circles will be located where Corn Stalkers was last season along the Lakefront.
TylirBrown98
I know this is kind of before its time, but about the two new mazes in 2015. The first one Big Top Terror, which I'm assuming will replace The Manor & Total Darkness in the Right Stuff Building. And Condemned, which is also indoor but will be in movie town. I wonder what building they are gonna use?
jdc12192
Big top isn't replacing anything.

jdc12192
My lips are sealed since i don't know if i can share or not. Just got the OK to share-- The chiller building will be used for Condemned, and Big Top Terror has two locations being considered-- Superman bubble or the remainder space/back of the simulator building. Chiller
Just got the OK to share-- The chiller building will be used for Condemned, and Big Top Terror has two locations being considered-- Superman bubble or the remainder space/back of the simulator building. Which Chiller building, the station or the area formerly used for the Xploratorium?

The Superman bubble would be way to small no? & Wouldn't that interfere with the ride entrance.? The remaining space of the Right Stuff building seems ideal but not if they squeeze the maze in there and its like a one minute walk through
bdmaHoban
This is our first year with passes and gonna try FF out. How much are each attraction or is it better to get the add on to our passes.
29yrswithaGApass
If you can swing it, the terror trail pass is by far the best bet. Single trail tickets cost $10 at the end of last season so two or more trails and you have it made. The $35 front-of-the-line is a great choice since the trail lines can be well over an hour each if you have to wait, especially towards the end of FF. Keep in mind the sale prices below are for a limited time and if things are like years past, the prices will increase or the options discontinued all together.
