Characters in the park

I know there are a few characters that are still in the park-Bugs & Lola, Porky & Petunia, Tweety, Wily E. Coyote... (maybe more but they are the ones we've seen)

I think this is something that the park could do well with expanding/changing. Sadly, I don't think most little kids know who the classic WB characters are. (Though since Animaniacs is on Netflix, I'd like to see them back!)

The park is really into the DC heroes/villians. They have so many licensed items for sale and named rides. I wonder if it would be possible to start having the superheroes/villians instead of the WB characters? The kids know them, and I think parents would be more willing to stop and pay for photos with characters the kids know.

Thoughts?

To add to the list I've seen Daffy Duck and marvin the Martian but I think that was a female version.

Six flags over Texas has the superhero characters out in front of the Justice League ride so maybe that's what they will do when we get one.

I think charging extra costs just for photos should never happen. It's not like the parks are paying that much to the people in the suits in the first place.

Oh I meant the people buying the photos! Not charging to have the picture taken or doing a character meet and greet-that would suck.

Oh my bad for misunderstanding, I think adding the superhero characters around their appropriate rides would be ok, I believe this has happened in the past?

The picture pass is great because you can get their photographers to take a photo and you just add the photo to your card on one of the kisoks.

They would like to add superheroes but it's the long process of making it happen that is the issue.

They have to find people that fit the criteria for each character then send things to WB for a long approval process. If WB doesn't like the person then back to square 1 to try and find another fit.

It's a lot harder then finding costumed characters Bc JLA are all face characters so there's a lot more percise requirements.

Up until a few years ago they used to have superheroes for meet and greets. I remember seeing Batman and Green Lantern and some others. I don't know why they stopped those characters from having meet and greets.

As far as I remember, they had Batman, Green Lantern, Flash, Wonder Woman, and Superman.

Sadly the last of the characters all left the park at the same time and since then its been hard to find replacements and I'm not sure what the current costumes are, but if the ones the park has aren't up to date then they have to wait on the costumes as well.

Wow, time has flown by. I swore I saw DC characters last year at the park but maybe it was the year before. They were by the the Heist.

If they have a lot of people to dress up as the characters, and there are enough eligible to portray the superheroes, then they should add them back. I'd say add about five, and add more depending on who is getting on the job.

I was one of the superheroes- I did it for about 8 seasons. We kind of all left right around the same time for various reasons (full time jobs, weight gain, etc). I know for me, I wanted to go out while I was still approved by DC Comics ( we had to get approved every calendar year), and I (along with the rest of us) was getting older. I finished my Master's degree during my time at the park, got a full time job, and decided to do roller derby instead. Six Flags also said Wonder Woman couldn't have bruises, and DC owns the rights to your image (how you look) while you're approved, and I couldn't do promo for roller derby as a result, so that was that.

The villains (I was also Cheetah) just didn't hit that well, with the exception of the Joker & the Riddler. It was a short run for them.
