The Master
I do not like the new paint scheme but I am glad they are working on the parachutes since I really like that ride.
CablesEric
Can this thread be split into two? one for people who want to read about the parachutes and one for those who want to debate themeing?
29yrswithaGApass
Some new info on the parachutes...... When the ride reopens in a week or so, expect to see new multi colored parachutes replacing the red, white, and blue ones, and the letters S I X F L A G S on the column! No name change is expected. 29yrswithaGApass
^ Yes, the letters are suppose to be on the main column of the ride, similar to the tower at Six Flags Over Texas below: Here are some photos from Saturday showing the progress that has been made. Check out additional shots in the Spotlight Extras - Parachuter's Perch album.

Chiller
It looks fresh. I liked it better white. At least since they are repainting it, it should be staying for a while now. Did they plan on doing this earlier in the year? On the picture on the map, it says Six Flags on it.

av8r296
Ok I just have to say I'm happy they painted it but I hate the colors. And the Six Flags looks terrible. Why do they have the "F" in one color and the "lags" in another. That looks rediculous.
acq10uaz
^Yeah I have to agree that it looks terrible like that.

pashacar
I don't love the lettering but I have to agree that the whole structure looks fantastic. Really adds a lot of life to the skyline! Did the chutes open back up yesterday as planned?
