29yrswithaGApass
Viper was originally going to be named Unforgiven - the 1992 Best Picture winner from Warner Brothers Studios.
CycloneMan
Unforgiven would have been appropriate for it
JetsDevs4Lyf
Shoulda known the theming would have gone with that. Couldn't put my finger on a proper titled movie though.
29yrswithaGApass
In the end I don't think the movie really matched up with the family image Time Warner was after. The description of the movie is: "Two retired sharp-shooters and a would-be gunslinger team up to claim a $1,000 reward for killing two cowboys who brutally disfigured a prostitute." JetsDevs4Lyf
Wow when you put it that way Viper is much more fitting haha. Never saw the whole movied but yeah that could have been a PR issue as soon as someone picked up on it.
gafreak
Unforgiven would have been a good name i think. I still havent forgiven GA for demolishing a 9.5 million dollar ride after a few years. Plus after riding viper you felt like you were disfigured. If you were under about 6 ft tall your head got smashed around pretty hard. Well atleast TOGO is bankrupt and we cant get anymore pieces of crap from them.
29yrswithaGApass
... and if you were over 6 foot you ended up with two yellow metal bars imbedded in your shoulders with bruises to prove it!
JetsDevs4Lyf
Yeah that was one big mistake the company made, but hey in retrospect they really made up for it I think with putting El Toro in the park after this was removed for good so it turned into a big win
