Yeah, as a centre right, this is so dumb, Baby It's Cold Outside is about as controversial as a 50s musical and Rudolph is about ANTI-bullying. Also, don't forget the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving scene that lasts 5 seconds

I hope nobody finds out my favorite Christmas song is "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer":lol2:!!!!

Actually, what's dumb is that all of these were Twitter memes that get reported as news, which drives the usual "War on Christmas" BS because of two things - people over the age of about 40 don't understand Twitter and people of certain political leanings have zero sense of humor and satire.

Two days after Christmas Walmart had all the Christmas stuff down and the shelves stocked with Valentines Day candy and merchandise.

Yeah, this is annoying as I'm doing Little Christmas (aka Epiphany) this weekend and still need to *ahem* buy presents and wrapping paper ...

Wegmans didn't even wait until Christmas. When I was there on Christmas Eve day, they had the Valentines Day items out in the main displays and the Christmas merchandise was in a back corner of the store.

Someone is selling reprints of this year’s theme park map on Amazon and promoting it as “lost” and “rare”. They are even going so far as to number the edition of the reprinted map.  Too bad they didn’t use an original map and instead plucked the one from our GAH site - it has our logo in the upper right corner.  😡

Here is a link:   Lost Posters Rare Poster Theme Park SIX Flags Great Adventure map Reprint #'d/100!! 12x18   -  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K1S3PZX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_5hLlCbWFEQDZ4

I wonder if reporting it would get the listing removed. Hopefully they would handle this kind of issue better than eBay. I used to report counterfeit video game listings and they never got removed.

A very sore Chicago Blackhawks fan and his disrespectful son getting mad at my friends and I for cheering on the Devils at last night’s game. Then he instigates and gets in our faces when Chicago put up a few. Glad the Devs could pull away with the win. To those two: Newark airport is right down the road, enjoy the flight back to Chicago. LGD 😈

Chicago sports fans aren't the worst behaved fans but they can get kind of rowdy at times; not as bad as Philadelphia fans who would climb poles and buildings and other crazy stuff after the Eagles winning Super Bowl 52. Their teams are also popular with bandwagons because of Michael Jordan's two three-peats with the Bulls and the other teams having success.

I agree, and I always wonder about the riots that would’ve happened if the Eagles LOST last year. But my story about the Chicago guy doesn’t top my experience when the Devils beat the Flyers in OT at a game I saw at Wells Fargo Center. Flyers fans blocked me and my friends in Devils gear from using the bathrooms. I think people have a tough time remembering that in the end it’s just a game.

My local casino, Mohegan Sun Pocono reconfigured the smoking and non smoking areas. It used to be that the casino floor was about 50% smoking, 50% non smoking. It's now about 70% smoking, 30% non smoking and the area with the newer and better games that used to be a non smoking area is now smoking leaving non smokers basically older, non popular machines to choose from. 😠

I still remember as a waiter the smoking section was the worst place to work, but also made the most money. Smokers spend more money (look how much they waste on cigarettes), and have no problem spending money on food, drinks and casino games. It's a shame, but it's economic reality.

That's just gross.  I'm not one of those former smokers who turned into an anti-tobacco Nazi, but c'mon!  And to stick the good games there?  Is it clientele related?

I think maybe they had too many of the more popular games in the non smoking area and they probably got complaints. It's also mostly older players there that probably have a higher percentage of smokers compared to some of the other casinos I have been to that have more of an wider age range of players.

That does make sense.
